My mom told me that how we draw is how we see the world.
One of her best friends painted the most vibrant of paintings. When asked why the colours were so bright, she explained that it's just the way she perceived the world, and it just so happens to translate on the canvas for others to experience.
Is my art style also influenced by my perception of the world? Is the blocks of colours that is my art reflect how I recognize objects in the world? Or the purples, blues, and pinks are shades which I pay attention to more?
